Rehab Studio wanted to attract culturally-led new business and the best talent in town. We needed to make style-conscious, culturally-savvy brands and talent aware of Rehab Studio. But with no budget. Literally nada.
Our Solution
Using internal resource and ideas, we devised Hack Weeks. One problem, one team. One week to solve it.
We needed to create a digital idea that earned the attention and affection of our target group. We decided to hack a street culture symbol. Something with a huge, passionate online community. The sneaker.
We introduced Shift Sneaker, the concept sneaker of the future. A smart surface sneaker with a design you can control. One sneaker with a million colour ways, made with near future materials.
We needed reach but also credibility, so we seeded Shift Sneaker with High Snobiety. We targeted top fashion, lifestyle and tech outlets, and it got some serious traction with coverage landing in Wired, Daily Mail and Stuff.

The Results
The campaign saw 5,597 shares on social media, and every major footwear brand contacted Rehab Studio, including Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Reebok and Asics.
